Few things compare to the joy of photographing friends on their wedding day—especially when the friend is a fellow creative! E, an incredibly talented wedding videographer, and her fiancé Bryce chose a dreamy adventure elopement on the Washington coast, and it was an absolute honor to capture every sweet moment of their heartfelt celebration.
E and Bryce rented a stunning coastal shingle house that comfortably accommodated all their friends and family traveling from out of state. Just minutes from the ocean, the house offered both breathtaking views and the perfect gathering place, blending coziness with coastal charm. It was the ideal backdrop for their intimate gathering and unforgettable moments.
Their ceremony, held on the misty coastline, was beautifully intimate and deeply moving. Afterwards, everyone returned to the rental for a relaxed and joyful reception. The night featured a delicious buffet-style dinner lovingly prepared by family, creating a warm, communal atmosphere. As the evening unfolded, guests enjoyed making s’mores around a fire pit and danced the night away under the stars—a perfect ending to a truly perfect day.
Adding to the magic, I got to photograph alongside our mutual friend Alec, who captured the day on video. Collaborating with friends made the experience even more special, turning E and Bryce’s wedding into a genuine dream shoot filled with laughter and creativity.
