Adventure elopements hold a special place in my heart, especially when I get to celebrate incredible couples like Hannah and Danny. After our fun-filled engagement shoot at Snow Canyon, where we seriously chatted for an hour after the shoot, I knew their elopement would be fun and unforgettable.
Hannah and Danny chose the perfect date, April 15th, to honor Hannah's grandparents' anniversary—an incredibly sweet gesture. In a delightful twist, it also happened to be my birthday! Honestly, spending the day capturing their love was the absolute best birthday gift.
The couple rented a charming cabin tucked away in the lush forests of Hood River, Oregon. Surrounded by trees and serenity, it was the ideal spot for their closest friends and family to gather and share in the celebration. The cabin provided a warm and inviting space for everyone to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
After a relaxed morning getting ready, we headed out on a scenic hike to Wachella Falls. Surrounded by towering trees and the tranquil sounds of nature, Hannah and Danny privately read heartfelt letters from loved ones who couldn't attend. They then exchanged their personal vows in a quiet, intimate moment—beautifully emotional and perfectly private.
Their heartfelt ceremony followed, witnessed by their closest family and friends, creating an atmosphere of warmth and genuine connection amidst the breathtaking backdrop of the falls.
After capturing stunning portraits against the vibrant Oregon landscape, we returned to the cozy cabin where everyone quickly settled into comfortable clothes. A private sushi chef prepared fresh, delicious food on-site, making the evening both luxurious and relaxed. Hannah and Danny spent the rest of the evening savoring good food, great company, and lots of laughter—a beautiful end to a perfect day.
